For this edition, our visual is a tribute to “Paranoia” a 12-inch vinyl single released in 1989 by the Belgian act Domination. This track is emblematic of the Belgian New Beat movement, a genre that emerged in the late 1980s characterised by its slow tempo, heavy basslines, and dark, industrial influences. The “Destruction Mix” of “Paranoia” is featured on the compilation “Belgian New Beat - Volume 2,” which showcases some of the best tracks from that era.BELGIAN NEW BEAT.Domination’s “Paranoia” exemplifies the dark and hypnotic rhythms that defined the New Beat era, making it a significant piece of electronic music history.
