Olan! (they/them) is a multifaceted artist who decided to leave their jazz career behind in 2013 to fully embrace club music. With a lifelong passion for electronic music, stemming from their childhood days of digging for Techno vinyls with their older brother, Olan! has developed a unique style that encompasses live hardgroove sets, eclectic DJ sets ranging from Hyperpop to Gabber, and Electropop productions as part of the queer-feminist band ENL. Beyond their club endeavors, Olan! also works as a composer for theater and film and a mastering engineer. Their extensive skill set includes production, mixing, mastering, modular, Ableton Live, Reaper, music theory, rhythm theory, programming, and various instruments.
They have shared the stage with renowned artists and played at numerous venues, including Dachstock Reitschule Bern, Cafete Bern, Kapitel Bern, and Le Romandie Lausanne. They are open to performing at established clubs like Kauz and Zukunft in Zurich, Aeden and RSO in Berlin, TillaTec or Garaage Nord in Amsterdam, as well as festivals such as Dekmantel (Selectors) and Am Bach. If the chance is given, Olan! DJ would consider a DJ residency to further develop their skills through repeating performances with a familiar crowd, building their sets to make them exciting with every gig. Their performances are characterized by their semi-glamorous persona, and they prioritize LGBTQIA+ friendly spaces and reliable hosts.
